Saw a story referenced on Slashdot about a new method for cooling CPU
which involves a spinning heatsink and fan combo.

This is one of those ideas that makes you say, "Of course! Why the heck didn't I think of that?!" It's so simple and so obvious (in hindsight) that I'm betting we will see it on the market in the near term rather than the mid to long term.
