Just wondering. Post a reply if you're a fan of the Fedora :)

Yeah, it seems you're not alone. It appears the HSS forums are a Tex Murphy wasteland :(

Who is Tex Murphy?

One of Tex Murphy's hangouts.

Tex Murphy's official home.

Tex Murpys's KickStarter project. There is a ton of info on Tex here, including quite a number of videos. In particular, check out the first video. It has much of the look & feel of Tex.

Guilty as charged. :) Mean Streets and Martian Memorandum were the 2 I played. I was more into the Sierra games though to be honest.

IMHO, you missed out on the best 3: Under A Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive, and Overseer. And, if you've checked out the links, you'll see that, as a result of one of the most successful KickStarter projects ever, they're actually bringing out a new one, after 14 years!

Yeah, I know I missed out on some good ones. I was too busy with the king's quest, space quest, police quest, hero's quest (etc, etc) games. Space Quest has a kickstarter project too that looks nice: http://www.kickstart...ce-que?ref=live

Have you ever checked out abandonia.com? Great place to find classic DOS games from yester-year, and they're usually free too.
