This case looks like it would make a Great WHS or Media Server.

I'm a big fan of Silverstone , they make very well built boxes.

That's a pretty big HTPC box. No doubt it would be great for some situations, but it wouldn't fit in my living room.

If at first you don't succeed, do it like your mother told you.

I agree, its not for everyone.
Although I have a Silverstone LC-17 and a Silverstone GD05 stacked in my Home Theater rack right now.

They are the same dimensions as a standard AVR. ;-)

They pretty much blend in with all my Home Theater Gear.

Most people don't even realize they are PCs.

That being said the case is def. not for someone trying to build a secondary thin client HTPC in a bedroom.

Wow this is a great case. It has a tone of storage in it and great air flow.
External 5.25" x 2 (support optical drive only) -- Internal 3.5" x8, 2.5” x2
Cooling System Front -- Rear 2 x 80mm fan slot Side 1 x 120mm intake fans, 900rpm, 18dBA
1 x 120mm fan slot Top oversized vents Bottom
3 x 120mm intake fans, 900rpm, 18dBA
(backwards compatible with 1 x 120mm fan + 3 x 80mm fans, or 6 x 60mm fans)

I have an older one quite similar to this the LC 17.

That really is big. I, too, am using a SilverStone for my HTPC. I think it's an ML-03.

Great cases. I love the GD05B. I'm sure the GD08 is an excellent case -- it certainly comes from a good family.
