I feel good, I just bought 5 3T drives for about $168 ea which is not far off the pre flood prices.

Main Server - WHS 2011, Core I5-2500, 12T RAID 5 (5x3T) + 2T of Mirror + 2T of backup
Second Server - 2008R2, Core I5-2500, 12T RAID 5
Main Systems - Core I7-2600k, 16 Gigs DDR3-1600, 180 Gig Intel 330 SSD Max IOPS 240 Gig Vertex 3, 2T Sata 3 for local Backup
Other systems - Core I7-2600, Core I3-530's, Core I5-2500, Core I7-920, Core I3-2100, and G620 (see System List)

I just purchased 5 2TB drives and 5 3 TB drives. Now to dust off the RR 2720, install it and install drives. May be a busy weekend for me.

As I recall, the 2720 only takes up to 8 drives. I guess you'll just have to send the extra 2 drives to me :ph34r:

I also thought about putting the 2TB drives into an external enclosure as a JBOD on my HTPC. Option, I have lots of them.
