Is it possible for a user to remove/delete their account? If so how?

AFAIK, no active user, even with Admin rights can delete their account while it is in use.

I don't think it's possible for a user to delete their own account. You could mark you account as a spammer and it removes your posts. It also labels your account as a spammer so you can't use it but I am pretty sure the account can still be found in the member list.

Don't feel bad. That was my first thought: which accounts? I figured, since he didn't specify, it was probably forum accounts, but wasn't certain.

If at first you don't succeed, do it like your mother told you.
