I am not able to up my x310 in sleep mode. There is what I get from powercfg -a. I have an unknown device for a video controler. So how do I correct this on a headless server. There is no VGA port on the x310

If you're using the real HP WHS installer then I would think it would have the correct video driver built in. It seems strange if it doesn't.

The box comes with V1. I installed V2 OEM.

Hmmm, OK, that could well be why sleep isn't working. The V1 would have the correct DLL's to support sleep on that particular server hardware; the 2011 likely doesn't.

Agreed. Any idea what what video driver x310 is looking for?

Sorry, wish I did. Can you not find out on the internet?

I couldn't find much either. Have you checked Device Manager; maybe it says what the video is? If not, maybe Intel has a utility?
