First let me say that Server 2008R2 did allow me to enable the RemoteFX additional role under Remote Desktop Services. It also let me install the RemoteFX hardware into my Win 7 SP1 VMs. When I attempted to remotely manage one of the VMs from a Hyper-V Manager it gave me a black screen
“Video Remoting was disconnected. The virtual machine is using the 3D video adaptor, which is not supported by the Virtual Machine Connection console.” As stated by MS, this is expected, and leads me to believe it may be working.
Here is the rub: I can't RDP into any machine in which I have installed the RemoteFX hardware. I did see that I may need to add the administrator to the Remote Desktop Users security group (odd, as by default they are already supposed to be enabled) which I will try and post back.

By the way, I'm trying this less for the video upgrade as I'm not using any thin clients and more for the potential USB pass through capability.
