And, according to rumour, it's not even the big update; that's coming later.

I have and HD7s but it's not updating yet. I tried the 'disconnect the internet' trick and that didn't work either. Looks like I have to wait patiently.

Welch - do you have the HD7S? I have tried pulling the ethernet right away, waiting a few seconds, putting the phone in airplane mode, I just don't think it works.

I put Zune and my network connections side by side.. hit the check for updates and real quick disabled the ethernet... I've done both of our phones now without a hitch

you can turn the ethernet back on as soon as the black update window appears

After the Nokia event yesterday I'm in for a WP7. I'm not going to wait until 2012 though too far. This POS driod needs to go pronto. I'm also dumping Verizon after 12 years their charges are outta control. I get better discounts via ATT and Sprint. So if no one coughs up an 800 before Xmas I'm rolling with the titan.

Paul and Mary Jo seem to think it will be a 900 that will come to north america, and it will have a front facing camera.

update: now Paul and MJ don't seem too sure what it will be called, but they're speculating it will be unveiled at CES.
