This link seems to be working. I just ordered from it. Now lets see if the order gets cancelled or not.

That link is now reporting all sold out. Funny thing is I went there and put one in my "shopping bag" to see what price it would give. I did not complete the transaction. 5 minutes later my credit card company is calling me about the pending transaction on that and the previous days purchases. Apparently I used my CC at places that were out of character for my family and it looks suspicious.

The order did go thru but it looks like it is going to be kicked back by B&N. When it's too good to be true....

Will keep this saga updated.

Here is something interesting I found. I ordered from the HP Small Business site and have been waiting for my confirmation. I decided to see if I could see the status online. First screen I found look like this:

I noticed the small comment about Small and Medium Business Customers and followed the link. Here is the information I found:

WebOS community? I thought that was basically going to be dead.

I have my fingers crossed that my order gets processed but it looks like it could be a couple days before I will know.

Well looks like mine shipped, except they've already been delivered, last year :( I assume FedEx recycles old tracking numbers. I sure hope they recycle old tracking numbers.

I just ordered two 16GB touch pads from CDW. Their inventory had "call" under it but I ordered anyway via online. I have no idea if they will ship! I'll be checking in the next couple of days for movement. There were shipping fees and taxes too. Kinda ruins the whole feeling of a deal but still a great price.

I did the same as you and am still waiting for an email. My CC hasn't been charged either. Doesn't look promising.

You probably weren't aware but there was a glitch in HP's Small Business site that was letting people order Touchpads even though HP was sold out. They fixed that issue now but the question remains will they honor those orders. I would say of course they will if supply allows. If they have been putting people on waiting lists as of the 20th, I'm sure they are just basically back ordering Touchpads for customers of the site glitch.

Give them a call, they have been very upfront with me through the whole process.

Dang, if I have to call I rather not have it. The great thing about internet sales is I don't have to talk to people. ;)

What time / day did you order? I received an email this afternoon that stated they had my order and were processing it (explaining there was pricing issues on some orders). I still won't believe I got one until I see the thing on my door step.

Awesome. So your post made me check my email and I found that I did get my confirmation email. Sweet!

Whoever offers the most by noon tomorrow gets it.

Okay, just kidding. I want to play with it first. :)

I'm so mad! the 32gb I ordered from office depot arrived today but was delivered to the wrong address or stolen from my porch. Tracking says it was left at front porch with a signature that is not mine. The kicker is that I received two other orders from UPS today the I had to sign for. Not sure what happened. I've got a case open with office depot but not sure what they can do since they're sold out. I'll probably just get refund.
