I would like to formally announcing Meetup 2016!
This year it will be on September 17th. The location is the same as 2015 and at 8900 Keystone Crossing, Indianapolis IN 46240 Map here. I will get some photos posted up so you can see all the fun we had last year! Trust me, this is a fun event. I hope we can get all you guys that couldn't make it last year.
There will be a limited amount of tickets available. I will post up the ticket sales later but go ahead and secure your travel and accomodations. I have secured this weekend 100%. A ticket will be required to enter. I require this since I will have it catered and one year we had a bunch of no shows. I was eating BBQ for months after that meetup!
Here is the schedule for the weekend:
5:00 PM HSS HQ Tour (the new HQ) - This is a special tour of my home and where I do the podcast. I'll also show you my network, the racks, the boxes, and interconnectivity. It's going to be a big tour this year! This ticket is available to all PayPal and Patreon donors. If you are any level of Patreon you are invitied to this tour.

You don't have to use these but they are within walking distance to the venue and to a very nice mall, shopping, and restaraunts.
There will be another thread in the Home Server Show Forums to arrange airport transportation and ride share. If you are coming to the show and want some company on the drive please post in the forums. A little gas money might not hurt!
If your flight arrives near another person you can also work on a carpool. Several guys from past meetups have made airport runs on Friday but it helps if you can coordinate rides prior. The airport is a good 30 to 45 minute drive from the hotel. Be wary of Friday rush hour traffic. From the airport to the meetup area will be congested.
Meetup 2016 is also open to corporate sponsorship. Meetup 2016 Swap Meet
Attendees are free to bring items to sell or trade. Storage gear, laptops, anything.
If you need table space to show your gear please contact me. We have a limited amount of space and it goes fast. If you have an idea for a formal presentation please contact me. There is VERY limited time for these presentations so that we can have a nice open day and not super fast paced. We have tried that before and most prefer the open time in order to chat and see all the gear they can.
