CloudBerry Backup 40% Off Deal for Windows Home Server and Essentials

CloudBerry Labs has offered Home Server Show readers and listeners a great deal on their Server Software.  CloudBerry Backup supports over 15 public cloud storage including: Amazon S3, Amazon Glacier, Windows Azure, Google Storage, OpenStack and Rackspace.

Estimate your Glacier Storage –  Click Glacier on the left side. 400Gb is $4 a month.

There is a license for everybody! Windows Home Server Version 1, WHS 2011, SBS 2011, 2012 Essentials, and R2.

I’ve got some order links and a coupon code at the end of this post for this discount.

CloudBerry Backup

CloudBerry Backup automates secure backup to cloud storage. It connects to a user cloud storage account and transfers backup files and folders to the cloud. All data can be optionally ecrypted with a user password before it leaves the server as well as compressed to reduce bandwidth load and storage cost.

CloudBerry Backup perfectly works with Amazon S3 and compatible, Amazon Glacier, Windows Azure, Softlayer and over 15 other clouds

I regularly use CloudBerry for Windows Home Server 2011.  Prior to Amazon Glacier coming available I used it to backup files to Amazon S3.  I use it a little differently now however.  I have a Synology NAS in my house and the Windows Home Server 2011 backs up to it via CloudBerry.  I highly recommend copying your precious data to a different system and preferably put it in a different location in your house.  I also recommend Amazon Glacier as the prices for that service are very attractive.

As a Windows Home Server user you are used to having quality backups and CloudBerry provides just that.  Encryption, block level, scheduling, etc.  Imagine backing up your huge PST mail file every night just because it changed a little bit.  CloudBerry will do it block by block saving time and resources.

I use it, I recommend it.

Order via these links and use coupon code:  HOMESERVERSHOW

On the order page you will enter your name, address, etc. The next page will have a coupon code box that will apply the 40% off!  Thank you to CloudBerry Labs for extending this deal to us.

Whoops, it looks like the coupon code is no longer valid. I'll see if I can get it extended. I'll post back soon! My apologies.

Is this deal not available if one pays via paypal? I just tried to order a copy and it sent me straight to the paypal site at the full price?

I tried it and it went to PayPal with the discount applie. BUT, I have been in and out of testing it for several days. Try it again and let me know. Also, choose credit card and fill in your info then hit next to go to the coupon entry page. Enter the coupon and then start a new tab and choose paypal. Maybe that will work. Let me know though.

    is this still available?

    • cloudguy says:

Yes, its still working. Didn't see the coupon code at the bottom of the article. I'm assuming this is a perpetual license? I wonder if we can buy into maintenance for this and if it's worth it? Not sure how often these deals come up.
