Celebrity Sightings at CES 2011
CES is a great place to meet friends and colleagues but it’s also fun to look for celebrities from the tech world. Here is a little bit of that in pictures.
The high point in my celeb sightings. Cali Lewis.
TWiT legend, Leo Laporte.
I managed to snap a quick shot of Joshua Topolsky, Engadget editor.
Off strip I was able to do a little shopping at Gold and Silver Pawn. You might recognize this place if you watch Pawn Stars on the History Channel. ChumLee in the second photo, Big Hoss in the third. They were filming on this day and I hope we got into the shot! Stay tuned on that one…
Another off-strip photo of Monkees star Davy Jones(middle). Long story how i came about this one.
I don’t know if they are famous but I ran into a couple of aliens at Pepcom’s, The Digital Experience.
Robert Heron ran me over last year and I saw him again this year. I made sure to get out of his way this time! I also got to meet Ben Drawbaugh from Engadget HD. It was nice to be able to talk with him a little in the press room. Maybe some day we can get Ben on the podcast. I saw Patrick Norton again this year but he always looks so busy so I have never felt compelled to bother him. I saw Robin Rhyse from App Advice Daily. That was in the hallway to the bloggers lounge so I likely had a sandwich stuffed in my face and no access to a camera.
That’s all the celeb sightings I can think of. It was a fun CES.

I wouldn’t have even noticed Leo with the beautiful Natali Del Conte in that shot!
Good catch Jose! I missed out on that!
