Gaming build, VM build, and VM philosophy. Tonight we talk to Paul Braren (aka: tinkererguy on the forums) about two of his builds. We also cover some details on ESXi as well as a general discussion on VMs. A special thanks to Paul for joining us and sharing his builds. Yes I am a little behind on my podcast listening, but I was interested in the USB pass through discussion. My new server is a 2008R2 box with HyperV enabled. One of the VM's is my stateside 2011 server. The host has an external 1TB USB attached that is passed through to the 2011 server as backup, Works fine.
The way I listened to the podcast was that people were having issues doing this….is this correct?
